At Mezcamaica, we are always looking to combine the experience of taste with culture.
That's why we invited Argentinean singer-songwriter Corina Lawrence to inaugurate our presence in Mexico City's Mercado Moliere.
Corina Lawrence is an Argentinian singer-songwriter of Japanese and English descent. Her music fuses Argentine and Latin American folk with electro, cumbia, dance, pop and funk. She has performed at the Guadalupe Valley Fest, the Vibra Cholula Festival and the Guadalajara Wandering Festival. She is the official image of the Mantén la promesa en México campaign, which works for the prevention and treatment of HIV, and was chosen along with a select group of artists (Pato Machete, Juan Manuel Torreblanca, Mad Professor, among others) to launch the campaign's official song at a massive concert at the Monumento a la Revolución in Mexico City at the end of 2017. She has also participated in projects such as Sonido San Francisco (MX) and Trans-X (CAN). She currently lives in Mexico, where she is promoting her first solo album, 'Apurar la primavera'. You can listen to Corina's full album on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0ov01.
Corina represents our values. Follow her tour and her creations on social media.
Watch the video we made with her and share it with some good mezcas.
Cheers.
